Delivery

Fully online. Live sessions held via Zoom at scheduled times and recordings are made available if you cannot attend live. Two 90-minute live sessions per week. No additional on-demand requirements outside of live class sessions.

The curriculum is organized into four weekly modules: (1) Foundations — a non-technical introduction to large language models and how to identify AI use cases in your organization; (2) Autonomous Agents — delegating tasks, setting guardrails, and evaluating agent output, including a live demo of building an agent; (3) Building Agentic Systems — how agents use tools, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), memory, and multi-step workflows; and (4) Enterprise Reality — deployment, governance, security, privacy, and measuring ROI. Participants complete hands-on, low/no-code exercises and leave able to scope agentic use cases, design workflows with appropriate human oversight, evaluate platform options, and define KPIs and ROI for AI initiatives.
The program is designed and led by two Kelley faculty: Dr. Sagar Samtani, Associate Professor and Founding Executive Director of Kelley's Data Science and AI Lab, who recently served as Director of the AI for Business Intelligence Research Center at TSMC; and Dr. Jingjing Zhang, the Judith Norman Davis and Kim G. Davis Professor of Business Analytics, who designed the agentic AI course in Kelley's top-ranked Direct Online MBA program. To earn the certificate, participants must complete all pre-recorded modules, pass all weekly quizzes, and attend at least three of the four live sessions. There are no graded projects.
